Privacy policy

This policy explains what data this site collects, why, and what you can ask me to do with it. Daniel Whitehouse Consulting is the data controller.

Contact form

When you send an enquiry I collect your name, work email, company, monthly ad spend band, the service you are interested in, your message, and the page you sent it from. I use this to reply and to scope work. The lawful basis is legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry, and consent where you have asked to be contacted about future work.

Email capture for the checklist

If you download the Google Ads audit checklist I collect your name and email so I can send the file and, occasionally, related writing. You can unsubscribe at any time and I will delete the record on request.

Analytics and consent

Analytics tags load only after you accept them in the consent banner. Consent mode v2 defaults are set to denied, so no analytics or advertising storage is used before that choice. Declining is a single click and the site works exactly the same. You can change your mind by clearing this site's storage in your browser.

Storage and retention

Enquiries are stored in a database hosted in the EU or UK and kept for 24 months from last contact, then deleted. Email is stored with my email provider.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to processing. Email hello@danielwhitehouseconsulting.co.uk and I will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
